What is the Grassroots Leadership Academy?

Since 2015, the Grassroots Leadership Academy is dedicated to empowering individuals to effect bottom-up change through grassroots advocacy.

As a project of Americans for Prosperity Foundation, they provide educational programs and partner with local organizations to inform the public about some of the biggest challenges facing our communities.

GLA graduates change minds, influence policy, and lead in their communities.

What can GLA teach me?

There are three levels of GLA Training. The first, the Grassroots Advocate Certification, will teach you to be best advocate for freedom you can be.

- Organize your community

- Influence lawmakers

- Persuasively communicate through storytelling

Why is Storytelling so important? GLA's Duane Lester will teach you why:

GLA Level 2, the Community Mobilizer Certification, will teach you to motivate others, recruit, and mobilize. This is the best way to become a force multiplier in your community and create real change.

GLA Level 3, the Grassroots Leader Certification, is the final certification level and is for committed grassroots leaders. This is where you’ll put all your training together and handle real-life grassroots organizing scenarios. If you want to:

- Pursue a career in grassroots

- Become a community leader

- Run an issue campaign
